To Your Health
By Shirley Luper

Infection's just a sneeze away
When you have the flu.

Someone sneezed on me today
And now I'm sneezing, too.

I sneezed when going through the room
Feeling low and grim.

I knew then without a doubt
I'd passed it on to him.

I thought about that sneeze
And all that could be hurt.

A sneeze from flu-- from me to you
Could go around the earth.

So if you have to sneeze
Don't leave it unprotected.

Let's stop this epidemic
Before the world’s infected.

Shirley Luper has 16 years of experience as a caregiver and is a creeper (Creepers are children five to 12 months old) teacher at Crossgates Methodist Children's Center in Brandon, MS.
