| 1. When trying this activity, only work with two children to start with. Tie a scarf around the child’s waist. Line the children up. Encourage one child to hold the tail of the child in front of him/her. Try walking slowly with everyone holding on. |

| Play slow music and encourage the children to walk to the beat of the music. After they get the hang of the elephant walk, vary the music and number of children who participate. |
