There are many myths that explain how a particular constellation got in the sky. Talk about this with the children and share a myth. Suggestions include The Bear in the Sky by Stefan Czernecki or The Woman in the Moon by Jama Kim Rattigan.

1. Give each child a piece of construction paper and an assortment of stickers. Have them create a picture or pattern on their paper.
2. Encourage the children to trade papers.
3. Have each child write a short creation story telling what those stars look like or represent - and how they got in the sky.
