Curriculum Area Dramatic Play and Gross Motor Before You Start Talk to the children about the experience of making and extinguishing a campfire – specifically discussing the images listed below. Let's Begin 1. Challenge the children to demonstrate the following: • A tiny flame • Flames dancing • Fire drying out • Sizzling wood that’s been doused with water Furthermore If your preschoolers are ready to cooperate as a group, challenge them to demonstrate what they would look like if they were the fire being built from kindling.   No materials needed.
