ACTIVITY
Kissing Frogs

This silly game is good for lots of giggles.
Curriculum Area
Art and Fine Motor Skills
Before You Start
Read or tell a story that includes the legend of kissing a frog to turn it into a prince or princess. In addition to classic versions, some good titles for preschool children are Freddy the Frog and the Princess by Zygmunt Frankel or The Princess and the Frog by Will Eisner.
Let's Begin
1. Let children color or paint with red all over paper.

2. Help them cut out lip shapes.

3. Attach a picture or outline of a large frog to the wall.

4. Let each child have a turn to be blindfolded and try to pin the kiss on the frog. Don’t spin them first – that is sometimes too disorienting for young children.
Furthermore
Color frog pictures. Let the children try on old lipstick and make kiss prints on their pictures – boys and girls! If anyone does not want to wear lipstick, offer to kiss his or her frog.
