Fairy Tale Tic-Tac-Toe

This variation of a trivia game is a fun review of fairy tale facts.
Before You Start
Tape a large tic-tac-toe board to the floor with masking tape. Dive the class into two teams, X’s and 0’s.
Let's Begin
1. Alternating between the teams, select a person to answer a fairy tale trivia question.

2. If a student answers incorrectly, the other team gets a chance to “steal” and can work as a group to come up with a correct answer.

3. When a question is answered correctly, that child must come to the center and choose a spot to sit in. Give him an X or an 0 to hold.

4. When a team gets three in a row, they win. Repeat the game.
Furthermore
You can vary this for a more interactive experience. Select nine students to sit in a life-size tic-tac-toe board. Teams take turns picking a student to answer the question – the team can then agree or disagree. A correct answer gets a square.
