ACTIVITY
Facing the Facts

From the first moment a child begins to learn, the first image he recognizes is a mother’s or regular caregiver’s face. In this activity, your toddler will learn to distinguish basic human facial features.
Before You Start
Gather your materials.
Let's Begin
1. Sit your toddler at the table and show him the pictures. Together, name the facial features he sees-eyes, ears, nose, mouth, cheeks, chin and hair. Next, hold the mirror in front of him and point to his nose and say “nose”, then ask him to identify his nose. Do the same with the other features
Furthermore
For more advanced toddlers, try identifying the facial features of different animal faces.
