Before You Start
Tell the children firefighters have to be very strong and agile for their jobs. Talk about the ladders they climb, the hoses they lift, and the heavy equipment involved in their work.
Let's Begin
1. Do firefighters work out? Ask the children to follow you in various exercises.

2. Count out loud and do ten jumping jacks. Expect some toddlers to simply bounce. Show them how to clap their hands over their heads.

3. Do ten toe touches. Most toddlers can do this, though the may squat down.

4. Continue with other simple exercises.
