| The ocean is a beautiful place, home to many creatures and plants. This activity allows the child to create a model of this beautifully landscaped environment. When we appreciate the beauty of something, we are more encouraged to respect it as the precious natural resource it is. |

 Assign each child a particular part of the ocean to research (whales, coral, sponges, fish, ocean floor, etc.) Have the children record their data.

| 1. Each child will use their data to create a small-scale model of the creature or part of the ocean they researched. The children will put their models together and into the fish tank to create a model of the ocean. |

| Use several aquariums to illustrate life at different depths of the ocean. |
