To teach children colors |
|
| |
 |
| Before You Start | | You will need construction paper, scissors, regular white paper and crayons. |
|
| Let's Begin
| | 1. Cut out differently-sized hearts from white construction paper.
2. Hide the pieces of paper under another piece of regular paper.
3. Have the children color on the plain paper by shading with crayons to reveal the hidden hearts.
4. Encourage the children to experiment with different colors and shading techniques -- there are no rules! |
|
| Furthermore
| | | Have the children count the hearts, then compare the sizes and colors. You can also use different textures of paper (sand paper, crinkled paper, etc.) to make the activity even more creative.
