The child turned 4 a liitle over a month ago. Here is an example from today. He was in the bathroom and made a comment that he was going to pee on the toilet. I told him it wasn't a good idea. He proceeded to do it anyway. I had him wipe off the toilet with a paper towel and then sit on time out in the classroom. He began to cry and walked around the class. He would not sit down where I told him to. I went over to him and sat him on my lap to calm him and then talk to him about the actions. It took him awhile to calm down. When he did and I began to talk to him he began to cry again and shouting at me to let him go. Whenever any of the other kids looked at him he would stick his tongue out at them and shout don't look at me, and call them baby. I gave him a choice of sitting on my lap, standing next to me, or sitting away from the other activities that were going on in the room. He would not choose so I ended up holding him with me,shortly after that he tried to hit me. In the past when he has gotten angry he has been known to slap other teachers.
