About 3 weeks ago I had new girl start part time in our infant room. One of the girls who is currently working in the room is complaining that this new girl "drives her crazy". When I ask what the problem is, it is simple things such as: she doesn't take her turn helping to clean the room, she doesn't put a bib on Alex when feeding him, she doesn't foresee duties. I have reminded the veteran worker that it takes a new person awhile to get use to the routine and work as a smooth team. I remind her that everyone has their own ways. To me it seems like little "nit pick" items. However, I don't want either girl to leave the position because of stressful working conditions. How can I get these girls to accept each other's differences and work together smoothly. I have talked to the worker who is frustrated, but the new girl doesn't even realize that she is disliked. I don't want this problem to go any further. I know how other workers can start to gang up on one and start disliking her too.
