It is our job as care givers to do what is in the best interests of the child. If you are unsure what steps to take you might want to call a professional in your area. There are phone numbers in our area where you can call and find out if you should be reporting this. I am in Los Angeles. You might call the Children's Protective Services as a start. Or you might try asking your operator for the Zenith Child Abuse line. I would be concerned if this child were in my class. I would also be involving the parents at once.
