Nicolas wont eat
Hello. Jennifer I cried when I read about your daughter. I am having a very hard time now with my son Nicolas who is 4 1/2yrs old and we are on day 7 with no eating. I took him to the Dr. because he wasn't eating or taking fluids well and we were on day 6 then. The Dr. did xrays and told me he was constipated and need to relieve him and he'll get better. Aaron(dad), prior to the Dr's appt. took Nicolas to McDonalds for a hamburger. Nicolas took a very, very small bite and then he stuck 4fingers in mouth to get it out. He told Aaron "I'm going to choke!" We also told Dr about the incident. Well, the next day Nicolas was very weak and tired, not drinking. I couldn't take it, so we took him in the the ER. I wanted bloodwork and xrays again. I needed piece of mind. Everything has come back normal. Thank you God. Nicolas then told me he choked at the babysitters house. "mommy I choked and stuck my fingers in my mouth to get it out" I asked him if the babysitter saw him, he replyed "no she was on the phone" Thay made me sick to my stomach. We have talked with him telling him he is not going to choke and we are right here for him. Today he had some broth soup and drank alot of fluids today. He is very scared to put anything in his mouth besides fluids. I'm going to take him back to the Dr. on Monday if still no progress. Please, if any has advise or suggestions, let us know. Thanks
