Subject: Years ago, my son had this same problem ...

Years ago, my son had this same problem (he is now 22 years old). He was going on 10 and still couldn't depend on making it thru the night without wetting. i do believe it was a matter of being a very deep sleeper, which to this day he still is. Our doctor suggested something, which he said he couldn't explain why, but that sometimes it seemed to work. Before going to bed, have your child eat a peanut butter sandwich. Just simply that. For some reason, when i gave him the sandwich, most times he went the night dry. i have always been somewhat skeptical of it, but at the same time, i figured the peanut butter wasn't harmful to him, and it did seem to do the trick most nights. Have faith, they will out grow this...but it is so hard on them dealing with other kids that find out his secret. Thinking of you.
