not eating
I am not sure if I understand completely. Did she throw up a week ago? and is she eating just fine at the day care but not at home? If the answer to both of these questions is yes I would also like to know why she threw up and where. I know that my daughter did not want to eat because she was afraid of choking. If your daughter threw up at home, maybe she is associating eating at home with throwing up. If she eats at daycare, maybe see if she will eat other places as well, like the park, or resturaunt. Another excellent way to get a child to eat is have them eat with their friends. I do not know if this is helpful, when my daughter decided not to eat she was very stubborn about it to the point of not even swallowing her own saliva for the first 24 hours. Through a growling stomach on day 10 she was still able to hold on to her resolve not to eat and only drank juice or milkshakes. Since my ordeal is over I can look back and be in awe of her will power, but at the time it was a nightmare, and I am sorry to hear that you are having to go through this. Please keep us up to date on her progress and you are welcome to email me if you like. Jennifer
