The child was in underwear at preschool but would come home and put a pullup on to have his BM. The parents tried to talk the child into doing it in the toilet, but after a week or two of this going on they threw all the pullups away and the child had no choice but to have the BM in his underwear or in the toilet. The child held out for a couple of days and then one day at preschool he ran to the bathroom and did it! He did not have any issues with it after. I think that he was just nervous.
