potty trainning
I agree that children develop in many ways. Some may not be ready at 3. I teach a pre-kdg class in my local public school system. Being potty trained is helpful but not required. We have 20 3-5 yr old children and don't have time to change a child. We do if they have an accident but it is very hard for the assistant to be out of the classroom that long to do it. Teachers and assistants work closely together in our classrooms and are included in the teaching process so they need to be in the classroom. We do work through that because that is part of teaching. But it is very helpful if the children are trained before they come.
