that's great that you're getting her into swimming - it should really help her back and leg muscles to develop. At work (for the nursery) we have a Fisher Price Stride to Ride Walker. This is a fantastic toy! I've never seen a child tip it over although depending on the groundcover and slope it can 'run away' from the child. It's great because the child can either hold it and walk or click the legs together and they can ride it. Another one we have (more for the toddlers) is the Step2 Zippy Go Rider. It's a good toy too although I have seen it flip up once or twice. Check out both of them at www.edex.com.au . Another thing you could try although she may be too old (or big) for it is a jolly jumper to encourage her leg muscles to develop. (www.jollyjumper.com) Most babies tend to want to pull themselves up onto things and attempt to walk - hopefully she'll do the same thing. If you can take her to a local playgroup she will see other children standing and walking and it might get her interested in doing the same thing. Keep trying!!!! Good luck!!!
