Subject: Bedwetting and Accidents During The Day

I have a six year old girl who not only wets the bed at night she has accidents at times (not every day) during the day. I know for a fact that her accidents during the day most of the time is due to the fact she doesn't want to stop playing or take the time to go to the bathroom. I am wondering though if there might be something developmentally going on. I also wonder if anyone has any information on how food allergies affects wetting your pants. She is allergic to milk and can get diarreah within minutes after eating if she has had too much dairy during the day. I also wonder if nerves play a role in needing to go more than usual. At times when she is nervous, like taking a new class for the first time, i think I have noticed that she needs to go more often. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Concerned Mom
