Whether or not you, personally, agree, our society has decided that we should try to help those who are less fortunate. We have made laws to protect disabled children from discrimination in school including The Rehabilitation Act of 1973, The Americans With Disabilities Act, and the IDEA. Why do you see working to right an injustice as "being a victim?" Are people so determined to complain that they would ignore constructive advice which could make their lives easier?
