The Toddlers are a rewarding group to work with, I am sure you will enjoy them - and reember to have fun! Toddlers are explorers keep lots of toys on low shelves for them to pick from - this will give them a sense of inderpendence Prepare for the day (especially art) but be prepared to change your plans (keep crayons ect at the ready should you run out of time to do finger painting)and it's not the end of the world if you skip painting one day! Keep your group times short (and dont expect everyone to sit the whole time... because they wont!)I have a selection of boxs (from the $2 silly shop)that i keep puppets, scarfs and props in - and make a big game of what could be inside the box it helps keep their interest. OUr Fav transition song is "WHOS HERE TODAY" that we sing to the tune of farmer in dell - i get one child to stand at a time and sing their name - " Jacks here today, Jacks here today we clap hands together because Jacks here today... Horay!" they love it and bop up and down smiling! Good Luck - Narelle
