YES YES YES TRY THIS
I was a bed-wetter until I was 13. I used to dream that I got up and went to the bathroom, and in my dream I would even keep asking myself "Am I really awake?" and when I decided I was, I would pee in my bed. It was agonizing. I truly couldn't tell the difference between being awake and asleep. I guess I was in sort of a half-asleep half-awake state. Anyway, my aunt told me to pinch myself until it hurt to see if I was awake. Believe it or not, I did this a few times thinking I was awake on the toilet, agonizing over whether I could feel it or not. Then one night, I guess I made it to the toilet and actually pinched myself and felt it and never peed in the bed again. I pinched myself on the toilet for months after that to make sure.
