Subject: re: bedwetting

I recently read a excerpt in the Parents magazine about bed wetting. I think it was a February edition. Anyways, it said that when the tummy / bowels are full, it puts pressure on the bladder during the night that triggers some wettings. Of course, cutting back on fluids will help too. My son wet the bed until he was 11 yrs old. I also took him to the Dr. .... nothing wrong. My nephew who sleeps at my house is almost 7 and wets his bed too. About 1 hour after the child is asleep, we get him up and take him to the bathroom. (I actually have to carry him, he's so out.) It seems to me that the body relaxes about an hour after we sleep. I think the bladder relaxes too. If I take my nephew to the bathroom, feed him dinner at an earlier time, (5-6pm ) he can make it without a wetting. whewww! So I figured this one out a little late. At least, it works for us. Good luck!
