Wont eat solids
Hello! I cannot believe all the feed back on the message board. I had no idea I wasn't alone with this situation. My daughter is 4 and she stopped eating solids 2 weeks ago today. I took her to her pediatrician and they thought it be acid reflux, so they gave me Zantac – she is still taking it, but she is not eating still. She said if she swallows her food, she will throw up. Her upper part of her stomach hurts. We have all kinds of tests and everything comes up normal. I’m going to scheduled the barium test this week to confirm the acid reflux – but for some reason I don’t believe that is what it is. I think she is just scared to eat after she put to much pork chop in her mouth 2 weeks ago Monday night and it got stuck, but it passed. I think her throat got sore after that, and now she’s scared to swallow anything solid. I'm so glad she will eat yogurt, pediasure, mashed potatoes from KFC only and now stage 2 baby food. I pray she will start eating solid food again. All the doctors she as seen, look so puzzled with her symptons and normal test results. Just don't know what else to do.
