Opening a daycare center
I am trying to open a daycare center in my hometown. I have found a site and contacted the SBA (small business assoc.). They are mentoring me and it is helping, but I am finding it very difficult to find funding. I have the an AA degree in Elementary Education, CDA certifications (although I am still working on my Directors Credentials), and a substitute certificate in my county. What I do not have is any money. If there is anyone who could help with directing me to the right grants to help with opening the center, I would greatly appreciate it. Every center in my county has an exrtemely long waitlist. I could not even get my own children into one until at least January 2007 -if there is room then.
