rote skills are also important, too. how...
rote skills are also important, too. however, reciting 1-100 at circle time is too tedious. the other kids are loosing learning time themselves as they sit through a kid counting for that long. rote counting should be done at small group or individually. math is developed as one-on-one, random rote counting, then matching number to quantity, then number recognition.
