7 yr daughter afraid of choking
Lacey has always been the one to have anxiety over things. 8 days ago, she choked a little bit on peanut er, and now she refuses to eat any solid foods for fear of choking. We took her to the doctor today and he said he did not see any problems. She complains that it feels like something is stuck in her throat. She is living on milk, pudding, and broth. It seems as if most of the other children on here stress or obsess about things. I am glad this is not an uncommon occurence. Oh yeah, the jerks that say stuff like "get over it" or "maybe its for attention" are idiots. It is very stressful as a parent to see your child just stop eating for days and days and days. Nutrition is supposed to be so important, of course a parent is going to be concerned.
