Subject: cursing in the classroom

I had this problem a few years back and here is what I did: I calmly told the child those were "potty words" and if he wanted to say them he needed to say them in the bathroom. At first he thought it was cool--I would hear him in the bathroom yelling the words (it was kinda funny!) and then he'd come out and be fine. Later, it became a chore for him to leave what he was doing and go to the bathroom and it only took a few days for his language to improve!
