I think ur daycare is making ur life easier, being a new teacher, why don't u give them some time to learn there way of doing things and u can suggest new ideas or an extra art project or a new idea for the blocks center. in this way u will show them your work and creativity and after some time you can ask " do you think we can plan the daily schedule at our next staff meeting ?" good luck.
