We do take 3 yr olds. but ours are ones that need some kind of intervention or have certain risk factors. Ours go 5 days a week for 2hrs and 45 minutes. Our kindergartens are full day and our students sometimes need two years of preschool to be ready for Kdg. Our kdg's are also very structured and demanding not very developmentally appropriate, so we do try to get as much knowledge in our program and still be developmentally appropriate. I do think preschool is good for all children just so they learn how to interact with other children their age and be able to share toys and learn to sit in a group and listen to stories.
