I have seen very few women that are good at extending dramatic play for boys. they usualy limit the dramatic play to the stupid little kitchen area.
Come on lady's have you heard of a "TRUCK VOICE"?
First, you have to get your voice down real low and scratchy. Next, get out the helecopters, trucks and cars. build a fort and assign names like jake, fred and chase to the characters. say stuff like, "COME ON JAKE, GET IN THE CHOPPER BEFORE THE WORLD EXPLODES!" and, "THANKS BUTCH, THAT WAS A CLOSE ONE!" HOP IN AND FOLLOW ME" pretending to fly away......
thats something that women don't usualy bring to the ec classroom.
