What specifically would like like help with? I would think you must have some experiences or education with Pre-K or you wouldn't be in this position. Do you need help with schedules, programming, activities, parent involvement? Just asking for help is pretty vague.
Does your program have resource materials? Google Preschool or Pre-K and see the wealth of information on the web.
Ask your director for help. He/She will know resources for you or maybe trainings in your area.
How many children do you have? Are they all the same age or are you working with multiple ages? BY THE AGES by K. Eileen Allen and Lynn R. Marotz is an excellent book that all preschool teachers should read. The subtitle is Behavior & Development of Children Pre-Birth through Eight.
Good luck

You don't need to apologize. It is easier to help if we know what your specific problem areas are. Just ask away! There are lots of experienced people on this board willing to help.

Can you divide you morning into time slots to work with each age group? If you try to do the same things with all the children, you will drive yourself crazy. How many children do you have in each age group? I hope you are not in the room alone with the children. You could work with one age group while the other person is watching the children play. Do you have learning centers? You can rotate the children through the centers by age group and work on age appropriate activities with each group. We have 3/4's and 4/5's in our Pre K class and the teacher works with each age group on readiness activities, while her assistant supervises the other centers. Do your older children nap? If not, this might be a good time to work on readiness skills in a quiet setting.
Do you have resources to use when planning activities? By the Ages by K. Elieen Allen and Lynn R. Marotz is a good resource for behavior and development of children from birth through age 8.
Good luck and keep us posted on how you are doing. That is a difficult job with so many ages.

Cheena, I know exactly what you're going through. I have children aged 2-5 years in my program. I run a homebased preschool program. And actually, it's really not as hard as it sounds. With pre-planning, it's ALMOST a snap! All the children, no matter what their age, they all love manipulatives, the sand and water table, reading, outside time, physical challenges, walks, exploring, building, painting, etc...
I find it best to do observations on the children and build the activities on their conversations, interests, and abilities. For example, all the children made their own stilts. They used boxes and/or tin cans. The smaller the child, the smaller the stilts, but they all loved decorating them and they all loved building them! Granted, a two-year old needs more hands on help than the 5 year old, but really, their interests are VERY similar. Just don't have the same expectations for all of them - any activity can be modified for skill levels.

no wonder you are asking for help! how many children do you have by yourself (I am guessing around 6-7 being that big of ages)and you have the added challenge of needing to toilet train and prepare children for school!
If i were you i would set a routine for the younger members - and do your more complex activity's when they are sleeping. Talk to your director about what has worked in the past.
