Hi there you wonderful people in the exciting world of childcare and education!!!!!!
I'm looking for some spatial awareness activities that can be done with children aged 5-8 years. I was at the museum recently with a group of girls in this age group when I noticed that some of the older ones were having a lot of trouble with a puzzle that I would expect a 3 year old to do!!! It was a bit strange really!!! Yet 2 girls who have puzzles to do at home did the puzzle in seconds!!
Some ideas I have had are puzzles to make and do, sequencing activities and even throwing and catching a ball. Any other ideas??? I really need activities that challenge the girls to keep them interested in the activity. Come on, I know you can think of some for me!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!
