I'm sure I'm not the only one that knows little children LOOOOVE secrets. They tell them all the time to all kinds of people "Hey, wanna' know a secret?" and if they're anything like the children in my group, they're starting the realize they're not supposed to tell the secret. So I want to find books and stories to share with the children about secrets you keep and secrets you tell. I want them to know you can always tell mommy and daddy, or a police officer, etc. 'Cause sometimes, they need to be able to tell certain secrets. So does anyone have any stories/books they would suggest for children 3-5 years of age? Thanks!

I've been thinking about your message for a while.... I totally agree with you - children need to know the difference between a good secret and a bad secret. I was wondering if the child abuse and protection centre can help you with books to read to them.....? Unfortunately I don't know of any books that could help you - sorry!!!

I did a search on the 'net and found....
on Amazon - - - - Trouble with Secrets by Karen Johnsen. The were also a lot of books along the same sort of line but not necessarily about secrets....
on www.mcgruffspo.com - - - - Good Secrets, Bad Secrets. They also have lots of books but unfortunately are all colouring books.
http://www.ipt-forensics.com/library/images4.htm also had some books that could be helpful!
Good Luck!!! I hoped this helped!!!!!!!!!
