It would be interesting to read the article. Is there any way you can forward it to me? Thanks

    Subject:boys!

The blue heading that says Early Childhood News, click Home. upper left hand of this page! this is a great article. Too many child care providers restrict boys. Does the term 'sissy-fying' come to mind? Boys are loud, busy, active. They do need to be heard more. Just make sure a balance is made, that girls aren't expected to be the good ones in class, and they are not always the 'teacher helper'. Actually, I saw a video training on this, girl helpers during circle were used to hold 'props' while the boy helper were physically participating. And girls are called on less in class, and not praised as often for a job well done as boys are.
