Hi, I just started my cda classes and I'm so nervous about the competency goals, not sure how much detail to go in.
Thanks for any input

don't sweat this. Just jot down stuff you do everyday. These did not need to be 'college-level papers. Common sense stuff is what they want.

I am currently a teacher's aide and I'm wondering if I can work toward a CDA. I've read what I can find on the internet about it and it mentions lead teachers, but nothing about a teacher's aide. Can anyone help? Thanks Bonnie-Ohio

Subject:I have my CDA

I obtained my CDA about 3 years ago - coming time for me to renew. I obtained mine through my local Child Care and Referral agency, the Capital District Child Care Coordinating Council. They're in New York. 518-426-7181 or you can go Care Courses - available on-line and they have all the classes you'll need AND they are available if you need help with anything. I'm renewing through them and it's really simple and easy and they're wonderful.

I would suggest visiting easycda.com. They offer help with all parts of the CDA process. You can also email me, as I am a CDA Advisor and CDA Rep.
