Hi there, I am also from Aust. and an early ed teacher. Your comment was well put and straight forward, but wouldn't it be great to open a book with all the answers. (i don't think so) Any how I agree mainly on the child as an individual, as this leads to maximum experiences and learning, and hopefuly the teacher is educated and aware enough to gain maximum capability out of the children in there care.I used to dred hearing-interact, interact. But now as a lead role in the day care centre I find myself exagerating my actions, hoping to set examples of correct management and play procedures for my young predecessers(both ch'n and staf).
Any how keep in touch, this is a very in tune area.
