It is great that you want to get your daughter into preschool, as the socialisation benefits alone are wonderful :) I can though understand her mums side feeling like it is stealing her time away.

Is there some way that you could perhaps involve her mother in your childs preschool life? Perhaps if she was involved in the choosing of the preschool that may of helped a little. But surely now that one is chosen there is someway she could be involved. Ask the preschool what kind of parent involvement there is at the centre. If she can be involved "somehow" she may feel a little more in control of whats going on and actually enjoy the preschool life with your little girl.

If you dont think your wife would be at all interested, then perhaps you may need to face the fact that yes your little girl will miss out on some of her preschool time to spend with her mum, and try to be content with the time that she does get to spend at preschool.

I am not a parent Jose:) So what I say I say with a little uncertainty:) Im only using my University training to fall back on here and trying to "feel" what the three of youd be feeling in relation to the situation:)

Good luck! I hope it works out:)
