I am a home daycare provider in Ontario, Canada. I care for 5 children aged 18 months to 4 years. Two of these children have special needs resulting in delays in learning skills and concepts. My own 6 year old is also part of our group. She has severe delays as a result of a genetic condition Trisomy 12p. I will be homeschooling her in Sept. 1999 as the placement offered by the school board was not what I want for her. She is still at the toddler level and works well with my group. Looking for information on adapting curriculum for special needs and for checklists of skills that will help us keep the learning offered on track.
